Job Title: Stores Executive

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Stores Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of materials and products in our warehouse or storeroom, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse or storeroom.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, consumption, and stock replenishment.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies or shortages.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers for timely deliveries and returns.
  • Implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations in the warehouse.
  • Resolve any issues related to inventory, storage, or logistics in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Stores Executive or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
